Bruce's first paddling experience was at age six when his uncle took him canoeing from Lutz to the Green Swamp via the Hillsborough River. He's been in love with the Florida Wilderness ever since.
Almost every other weekend his father would take him either hunting or fishing in places that still aren't on any map, learning Florida wilderness survival techniques such as foraging for nutritional and medicinal plants as well as utilizing what nature has to offer.
